- Professional information — business-related details such as your role, industry, and organization.
- Inferences — preferences and interests we derive from the information above to improve and tailor our Services and marketing.
We collect this information directly from you; automatically through cookies, analytics, and similar technologies; and from third parties such as our clients, referral and business partners, service providers, social media platforms, and publicly available sources.
02How We Use Information
We may use personal information for any of the following purposes, and for other purposes we disclose at the time of collection or that are compatible with these purposes:
- Providing, operating, maintaining, and improving the Services
- Responding to inquiries, providing quotes and consultations, and customer support
- Processing payments, invoicing, and managing client relationships

- Marketing and advertising our Services, including measuring the effectiveness of campaigns
- Analyzing usage and trends to understand how visitors use our website and to develop new products, services, and features
- Using automation, software tools, and artificial intelligence technologies to help us deliver, support, and improve the Services
- Creating aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data, which we may use and share for any lawful purpose

03Client Data We Process on Behalf of Clients
When we perform Services for a client, we may access or process information belonging to that client or its customers, employees, or contacts (for example, emails, calendars, CRM records, websites, and files). We process that information on the client’s behalf and according to our agreement with the client. The client is responsible for its own privacy practices and for having any notices and consents needed for us to process that information. If your information was provided to us by one of our clients, please direct privacy questions and requests to that client.
04How We Share Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and contractors who perform services for us, such as hosting, cloud storage, email, communications, scheduling, CRM, analytics, advertising, payment processing, and IT and security providers
- Team members and subcontractors who help us deliver Services, subject to confidentiality obligations
- Business partners with whom we jointly offer or refer services, where you have requested or agreed to the referral
- Analytics and advertising partners, such as Google, as described in Section 5
- Affiliates — companies under common ownership or control with AdaptExec
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers
- Legal, safety, and compliance — when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of AdaptExec, our clients, or others
- Business transfers — in connection with any actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, in which case personal information may be transferred as a business asset
- With your consent or at your direction
We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of certain analytics and advertising technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising,” under some U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out as described in Sections 5 and 9.
05Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our third-party partners use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and support our marketing. These include:
- Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website, such as pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, and device and approximate location information. Google may use this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Embedded content and tools — such as YouTube videos and website translation tools, which may set their own cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies.
- Advertising and remarketing — we may use advertising services (for example, Google Ads or social media platforms) that use cookies or similar technologies to show you our ads on other websites and measure their performance. You can manage Google ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you do, some features of the site may not work properly. Where required by applicable law, we will treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently respond to them.
06Email and Text Message Communications
You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email. Even if you opt out, we may still send you transactional or relationship messages, such as those about your account, projects, or invoices.
If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages from us, we may send messages about your inquiry, appointments, Services, and, if you agree, promotions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers who help us deliver text messages.
07Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business records, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When determining how long to keep information, we consider the nature of the information, the purposes for which it is used, and applicable legal requirements. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information indefinitely.
08Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, internet transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information. You provide information at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping any passwords or access credentials confidential. To the extent permitted by law, AdaptExec is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
09Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, and subject to exceptions and limitations under applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information we have collected from you
- Obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
To exercise any applicable right, email us at support@adaptexec.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, and we may deny requests where permitted by law (for example, if we cannot verify your identity or need to keep information for legal reasons). You may designate an authorized agent to make a request where permitted by law, and we may require proof of the agent’s authority. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”
California residents: In the past 12 months, we may have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1, from the sources described in Section 1, for the purposes described in Section 2, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 4. Identifiers and internet activity information may have been “shared” with analytics and advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require offering a right to limit its use under California law.
10Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@adaptexec.com and we will take steps to delete it.
11Third-Party Websites and Services
The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, platforms, and services that we do not own or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
12International Users
AdaptExec is based in the United States. Information we collect may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where we or our service providers operate, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Services or providing information to us, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in these locations.
13Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the privacy laws of your place of residence require otherwise. Any written agreement between you and AdaptExec governs to the extent it conflicts with this Privacy Policy.
14Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, at our discretion. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Services after an update is posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
